Is the Burdick book a true story? I've seen a causeway like that at the Great Salt Lake. I hope a real train doesn't come by and smash them. I guess they would have time to jump off. Hopefully they pick the right side to jump to, cause one side is saltier than the other and that could really sting in any open sores. Just sayin'.
